We are in a season when people
aren’t ready to travel far to have their needs met, therefore, wise business
people like you have strategically located themselves to be at the reach of
prospective and willing customers.
It is not foolishness to see
schools today having multiple locations in the name of a school because they
are ready to have in their custody, as many customers who are available in a
given location, who will not be willing to travel far to have the best value
for their money.
This is the junction where you need to apply some of the
things I have shared earlier in these 31 days of sharing ways to boost your end
of the year sales. How can you be reachable should be an eminent question that
must be answered for you to take proactive steps about it.
How Can You Be
Reachable?
a. Multiply your Selling Points: For you
to be reachable to your customers, one of the things you need to think and act
on, is to multiply your selling points. Don’t restrict your sales by
maintaining only a selling point, take the step of enlarging your coast by
multiplying your selling point by maximizing your family that you have carried
along or engage in commission payment to an ad-hoc employee.
Strategically,
locate places where your business can thrive and secure it for yourself, so
that you can enhance your sales. Be watchful to see what others cannot see, so
that you can grab the opportunity before any other grab it. Be aware that you
aren’t the only businessman; there are potent competitors, who can be smarter
than you are.

Network:
Hook yourself up with friends, families, and colleagues staying afar or
close, where you can get more sales for your product.
You can start a
networking opportunity on your product and service, so that it can travel far
because if you want to go far, you need to travel far. Don’t limit your network
to tribe, race, color, language, career, hence, an individual can meet the
requirements stated, such person is good to hook with you or you are good to
hook with such person, vice versa.
c. Be Mobile: You can also be reachable by
becoming mobile, so that you can be at the reach of your customer on a timely
basis. If you are privileged to have a vehicle, then you are good to reach your
customer early in the morning so as to get their order and deliver to them at
consented time. If you aren’t privileged to own a vehicle now, you can also get
a tricycle or motorcycle, just to ensure you are on the run to reaching your
customer and at the worst case, you can hire a van if the cost is moderate.
d. Be Accessible: If you aren’t mobile,
then, you can be reachable through telecommunication. Ensure you have minimum
of two lines due to network issue on any of the lines, ensure you are on any
available means of telecommunication medium.
Be on instagram,
Whatsapp, LinkedIn, Gmail, Email and other medium through which your customers
can easily reach you, if any of them will experience challenge, you can be
reachable through at least one. You can also include contact of any of your
committed staff, in case of your unavailability, just ensure, you are just a
dial away from them.
Be accessible at
the duration you have slated on your card, at the doorpost, on handbill,
internet and through your verbal discussion. Don’t delay your customer for any
reason, it is better for you to be waiting for them than for them to wait for
you because there are many options before getting to you that they discarded.
e. Distributorship: I am an author and
publisher, I engage distributor, so that I can reach people I am not reachable
through them. Let others leverage on you, so that you can boost your sales at
the end of the year and furthermore.
Make a verbal of
notification for distributorship for your product within and across your reach.
Don’t restrict your sales through restricted medium to reach the unreachable
about your product.

Training/Raising
Men: You can also increase your end of the year sales by becoming reachable
through your commitment to raising and training men to become better in what
you are doing. Be committed to training and raising men, don’t be afraid, if
they don’t become faithful, which should be part of what you should have
trained them for by putting all your processes right.
Raise men like Abraham, train men like
David, raise and train men who will be able to manage and grow the branches of
your business empire within your locality, state, nation and globe at large.
Always remember that a trained man is better than a qualified man,
qualification makes you graduate, while training makes you qualified.
g. Extra Service Delivery: If you will be reachable to your customers
especially when you are just growing, you will need to engage in extra service
delivery, you will need to work during the night when others have shut down
their operation and wake up early in the morning when others are still in bed.
You will need to
do something manually when others that you met in the business will do such
things mechanically, which will be faster. You will need to walk some miles or
had to plead to hire someone to give you an affordable ride, when some can
afford to fly the distance you are taking vehicles through. Just ensure you pay
the extra service for you to fly with them in the air.
