Day 31 of 31: Boosting Your End Of Year Sales – REMOVE WRONG NOTION ABOUT JANUARY, POSITION YOURSELF FOR 2017




Don’t be among those who still believe people are foolish enough to spend all on frivolous things during festive period like. People will have to complain as usual at the beginning of the year, people have purchase necessity that they needed for the month of January of a new year. 

I am here to let you know that, you can also engage in selling what people will surely need in the beginning of the year. People will surely patronize you as the year runs to an end as they prepare ahead for what they cannot do without on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. 

Position yourself for the year 2017 as you invest more into these aspects of business or whatever you think your customers will surely need. People will be willing to buy from business people who will position themselves ahead of the year. 



Food: Your customers will be willing to buy more grains of food as preparation for the year ahead. A hungry man is an angry man; no man will want to joke with food especially in the beginning of the year, when he knows to get financial aid from individual or firm will be daisy. 

Transport: People will not be foolish to spend all without making preparation for their transportation to and from their offices in January. Transport is a business that if you will handle it by yourself, you will laugh on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. 

Make yours an executive transport, you can bargain with your commuters, to know how many will be willing to be a committed daily commuter, so that you will not need to experience any stress, all you need to do is to put a call through at an agreed time and location. 

Clothing: An average staff will be ready to resume office dressing well. 50% of staffs and employer will still visit or patronize business people who sell clothing, so that they can dress well as they resume a fresh year. Making clothing available to them will not be a bad idea, it will be appreciated, stop assuming on behalf of your customers, you will be shocked that they will pick minimum of three to five wares. 

Academic Stationary: Students will not allow their parents to rest during this season because as they tell their parents as regards festive things, they will also remind them of their resumption. There will be need for parents to purchase some stationary for their children to resume a new term or semester well prepared for. 

Therefore, stationary wouldn’t be a bad idea at a time like this, position yourself for this opportunity that many people don’t prepare for or unconsciously prepare for. 

Footwear: Parent wouldn’t allow their children resume school with spoilt footwear, so also, is the parent, they will not be willing to keep using a bad shoe as they resume. Footwear is a must for both children and parent as they resume work and school consecutively.

DAY 30 OF 31: BOOSTING YOUR END OF THE YEAR SALES – END OF THE YEAR PARTY




Don’t belittle the power of this stated point. If you can throw a little party to commensurate this New Year ahead and this Christmas season, you are on your way to boost your sales for the end of this year. While we still younger, I can still vividly remember a woman in our community, who will cook end of the year food and distribute to any customer for the day, the food has been well packaged and if you desire to eat your portion there, you will be permitted. The summary of this cheerful act is that, she attracts more customers more than her daily customer that day because people will have to inform themselves as regards the free package of food that is being shared. 

If you can afford to get a one room canopy, chairs and tables, let the cooking be done at your base, so that the people can see that there is nothing hidden about the cooking. Get good plates for service and ensure you are not running more than your budget, you can as well have written the or announced it that “FREE FOOD FOR THE 1ST 200 CUSTOMERS” for today. 

Throw a time bound or timeless bound party for a day before the close of the year, you will be dazed the throng of people toward your place of business. People wouldn’t mind to patronize you for the first time, then, you would have being prepared to sustain their coming. You can arrange those side attractions stated in previous articles to groove the day with just appreciation package for their coming. 

Minimize Cost, Maximize Profit



You must be conscious of the fact that as you plan to engage in this idea, you must have this within you that you must minimize cost, maximize profit. Amongst the mediums to get this done are the below listed:

Plan Affordable Pack: Ensure you place your option of what you want to dish your customers on the table, pick the affordable and satisfying among the list. Don’t conclude without checking into options for you to minimize your cost.  

Engage Upcoming Artiste: Engaging upcoming artiste who will see what you are willing to do as a platform not those who will see it as an opportunity to charge you professional fee. Find time to talk to such individual or leverage on him to get what you desire.

Day 29 of 31: Boosting Your End Of The Year Sales – SIDE ATTRACTION




 
As you are very close to shut down your business for the end of the year, it will be great, if you can close with such surprising sales report. The written word remains written when it isn’t acted upon, therefore, it can produce no result. I want to let you know that all these word for each day will produce no result, if they are left undone; it is the written word that is acted upon that produces fabulous result, which is translated to “THE MIRACULOUS OR TESTIMONY”. 

If you want to make super sales for these days left and furthermore, try the idea of Side Attraction. I have come across some businesses that start with this but aren’t committed to doing it on a timely basis to get the attention of their customers. Side attraction isn’t only meant for getting the attraction of people at the opening of your business, there is no law binding you not to do such, if you have taking all permission from all necessary quarters. 

You can decide to make side attraction at your location or a mobile attraction within the community where you are based. Engage in a literate side attraction that will be meaningful enough to draw your target market and those who aren’t your target market but can become an agent of distribution to where they know your product can thrive.

Songs: Delight your customers with lovable songs, trigger them with end of the year lyrics, you can decide to engage an upcoming artiste who should see that as opportunity to leverage, who will not charge you but you can give a freewill cash for making up your day. 

Let existing customers and prospective customers be convinced as regards with your happiness displayed. Get your CD Player, plug your phone to a speaker and play danceable songs to make people know distract people to be attracted to what you are selling. 

Dance! Dance!! Dance!!! You can also decide to engage two young people (lady and guy), who can dance very well, to dance to songs played as customers are being addressed on a timely basis after getting their attention. 

It is not too much, if you also join them in dancing at your base or around your community and territory for people to know that you are delighted being in that business and you will be surprised how people will throng to patronize you. 

Comedy: Ensure you are not spending what will crash your income, leverage on someone to bring on stage a comedian, who can talk about your product as he put smile in the air. You can tag a day with a theme. 

Competition: Competition is also another medium by which, you can boost your sales. You can organize competition amongst different category of people especially your target market. Children football game, teen’s debate, parents discussion etc. 

Raffle Draw: You can also sell ticket for a raffle draw at this time when people need Christmas and Happy New Year gift. 

Barney: As much as you are trying to boost your sales, you must minimize your expenses. All you need is to rent the Barney garment cost and engage one of your children, family to play this role. 

Castle: Raise castle in front of your business location to attract children, who will drive their parents to your place of sales. A few eatery and event centre does this during this season, which will trigger children to collect money from their parents to visit such place. 

Organize Talent Show: Organize a talent show amongst some category of people. Stage the platform for them to pay back by patronizing you. It might be stressful but it will yield fruitful result in your sales, organize a talent hunt show just at your base, where you attract your target audience or any other comfortable place that won’t attract too much extra cost, except you have the surplus cash to do that.

Day 28 of 31: Boosting Your End Of The Year Sales - Be Reachable




We are in a season when people aren’t ready to travel far to have their needs met, therefore, wise business people like you have strategically located themselves to be at the reach of prospective and willing customers.
It is not foolishness to see schools today having multiple locations in the name of a school because they are ready to have in their custody, as many customers who are available in a given location, who will not be willing to travel far to have the best value for their money. 

This is the junction where you need to apply some of the things I have shared earlier in these 31 days of sharing ways to boost your end of the year sales. How can you be reachable should be an eminent question that must be answered for you to take proactive steps about it. 

How Can You Be Reachable?

a.       Multiply your Selling Points: For you to be reachable to your customers, one of the things you need to think and act on, is to multiply your selling points. Don’t restrict your sales by maintaining only a selling point, take the step of enlarging your coast by multiplying your selling point by maximizing your family that you have carried along or engage in commission payment to an ad-hoc employee.

Strategically, locate places where your business can thrive and secure it for yourself, so that you can enhance your sales. Be watchful to see what others cannot see, so that you can grab the opportunity before any other grab it. Be aware that you aren’t the only businessman; there are potent competitors, who can be smarter than you are.

b.      Network: Hook yourself up with friends, families, and colleagues staying afar or close, where you can get more sales for your product.

You can start a networking opportunity on your product and service, so that it can travel far because if you want to go far, you need to travel far. Don’t limit your network to tribe, race, color, language, career, hence, an individual can meet the requirements stated, such person is good to hook with you or you are good to hook with such person, vice versa.

c.       Be Mobile: You can also be reachable by becoming mobile, so that you can be at the reach of your customer on a timely basis. If you are privileged to have a vehicle, then you are good to reach your customer early in the morning so as to get their order and deliver to them at consented time. If you aren’t privileged to own a vehicle now, you can also get a tricycle or motorcycle, just to ensure you are on the run to reaching your customer and at the worst case, you can hire a van if the cost is moderate.

d.      Be Accessible: If you aren’t mobile, then, you can be reachable through telecommunication. Ensure you have minimum of two lines due to network issue on any of the lines, ensure you are on any available means of telecommunication medium.

Be on instagram, Whatsapp, LinkedIn, Gmail, Email and other medium through which your customers can easily reach you, if any of them will experience challenge, you can be reachable through at least one. You can also include contact of any of your committed staff, in case of your unavailability, just ensure, you are just a dial away from them.

Be accessible at the duration you have slated on your card, at the doorpost, on handbill, internet and through your verbal discussion. Don’t delay your customer for any reason, it is better for you to be waiting for them than for them to wait for you because there are many options before getting to you that they discarded.

e.      Distributorship: I am an author and publisher, I engage distributor, so that I can reach people I am not reachable through them. Let others leverage on you, so that you can boost your sales at the end of the year and furthermore.

Make a verbal of notification for distributorship for your product within and across your reach. Don’t restrict your sales through restricted medium to reach the unreachable about your product. 

f.        Training/Raising Men: You can also increase your end of the year sales by becoming reachable through your commitment to raising and training men to become better in what you are doing. Be committed to training and raising men, don’t be afraid, if they don’t become faithful, which should be part of what you should have trained them for by putting all your processes right.

Raise men like Abraham, train men like David, raise and train men who will be able to manage and grow the branches of your business empire within your locality, state, nation and globe at large. Always remember that a trained man is better than a qualified man, qualification makes you graduate, while training makes you qualified.

g.       Extra Service Delivery:  If you will be reachable to your customers especially when you are just growing, you will need to engage in extra service delivery, you will need to work during the night when others have shut down their operation and wake up early in the morning when others are still in bed.

You will need to do something manually when others that you met in the business will do such things mechanically, which will be faster. You will need to walk some miles or had to plead to hire someone to give you an affordable ride, when some can afford to fly the distance you are taking vehicles through. Just ensure you pay the extra service for you to fly with them in the air.
