WELCOME TO 30 DAYS OF PROPHETIC PRAISE @ BALANCE GOSPEL MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL - WHAT IS PRAISE?

Without any doubt, we are still in the season of our FESTIVAL OF LIFTING, which spans through seventy days running from May 29 – August 6, 2017. This year’s season has been tagged: LIFT UP YOUR HEADS, OH YE GATES, which has been confirmed with the happenings surrounding this glorious season.

We are more than grateful to God for the successful completion of the first phase of this journey, which is the 40 days fasting and prayers, which was garnished with signs, wonders and the miraculous all through the BGM family.

Glory to God who brought us to the second phase of this awesome season, which was unveiled by His Prophet on the 8^th of July to 6^th of August, 2017, which will be rounded off with Hossanah Sunday. Indeed, it will be an unforgettable journey ever in the lives of all BGM family and those who are connected with this glorious commission.

As we continue in this awesome season, when the unimaginable becomes the order of the day, it is very pertinent that you understand this season better on a daily basis through the teaching series that has been captioned: WHAT IS PRAISE?

It might be stressful for you to play a significant role in a mission not understood well, I believe you understanding about PRAISE will open you up to giving a worthy praise unto God during this prophetic season.

WHAT IS PRAISE?

PRAISE IS A COMMANDMENT

Psalms 100:1 – Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.

Psalms 98:1 – O sing unto the LORD a new song; for He hath done marvelous things: His right hand, and His holy arm, hath gotten Him the victory.

Psalms 150:6 – Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

These scripture verses that has been stated above and some unstated verses are my proofs to you that as though prayer has been commanded unto you by the LORD, likewise has  He commanded you and I to also offer praises unto Him.

Praises isn’t an option or alternatives to you and I, rather it is a prerogative in the agenda of God to mankind that praises should be offered and sacrificed unto Him.

The same way God expects you and I to keep the ten commandments given to us and other instructions of His, so also, does He expects you and I to be willing and committed to adhere to obeying the commandment of offering praises unto Him.

Praise is so mandatory to a point that King David had to schedule his daily itinerary to grant him the priviledge to praise God seven times in a day. Psalms 119:164 – Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgement.

Praise Isn’t Selective: When it comes to the commands of the Lord unto mankind, amongst, which praise is one of them, He doesn’t make it selective, it is general unto all nations of the world. Praise isn’t selective in races, colors and nations, therefore, praise is for all nations. Praise him in your dialect and language, God understands as a matter of fact, here at BGM family, on the 6^th of August, 2017, which is our HOSSANAH SUNDAY, it is a day when every dialect will be used to praise God at Goshenland.

It isn’t selective in the area of position, status, sex, wealth, able or not, that is why you see that even the blind still praise God, how much more you that can see, not looking at your disability, God awaits you to praise Him.

Praise Must Be Kept: As a commandment, it is compulsory for you and I to keep this awesome commandment, not keeping it has turned to a sin that must be forgiven before you further. Many reader of this article are guilty of this because they don’t consciously schedule themselves to praise God daily like David, it is only when God bless them that they remember to do such.

Here at BGM family, it is the 7^th day in this second phase, if you are yet to join us, make it a priority to do, it is a sign of your obedience to His command and watch out what God will do. Whatever can make you say “LET US PRAY”, should prompt you to say “LET US PRAISE”.

WHAT DOES PRAISE HAS FOR YOU?

.       Praise Turns You To God’s Delight: If you love me, you will keep my commandment. God isn’t man that will not lavish you with whatever you can spare for Him. Hence you can show Him your love by keeping His commandment of praising Him, He will never withhold His love towards you by turning you to His delight.

Guess what happens when you become His delight? You will surely experience Mordecai’s experience of those days. What shall be done to he whom the King delights in?

THE PLACE OF ROMANCE IN MARRIAGE (SPECIAL EXTRA)

The source of dryness in marriage has been traced to lack of romance in the home. Something important is missing in many homes, where there is fighting and wrangling, it is no other thing than ROMANCE. It may sound worldly, it may depict rottenness, that is for single but I know one of the essential reason why you married your spouse was that he romantic. 

Romance doesn’t have to be in bed, which is what has brought calamity in homes today, the only time when some couples are romantic, is when they are ready for OPERATION GO TO BED. It doesn’t matter how lifeless that your fiancé or fiancée used to be before you married, he or she was romantic in one way or the other, which almost made you to commit fornication then, until you waited patiently to do the needful on her, while some people couldn’t wait to pay the needful, yet, I wonder why the same spouse of yours, who you always want to have his or her neck on you has become someone who isn’t interesting to you anymore. 

You need to retrace your step back to bethel, where you met yourself and the journey that led to marriage. Go and pick those romantic baggages that you disposed because of family responsibilities. Romance isn’t tantamount to sex but it is the JOHN THE BAPTIST that clears the way for the coming MESSIAH. 

WHERE ARE THOSE ROMANTIC MOVES?

Good Dressing: Daddies and Mummies, it is time to consciously work on what will put on. Home responsibilities have turned many sweeties to monster, many honeys to brucelee in the home. Stand to your feet to bring down any imagination that is bringing disorderliness to your home that no more.

Mummy and daddy, don’t postpone your daily bath till noon because it’s a holiday, bath and dress up in your casuals, if it’s a holiday. Mummies, sew cooking wraps with a stunning label to get your husband triggering as you cook, to make your husband your maid, while you are in the kitchen. Throw away those wrappers, they are killing and destructives get gowns, bumper shorts, tights and short gown to cook for your husband.

Ask yourself if you are catchy for your husband as you are going out and you need to change when you are in the bedroom, which will make him to be restless until he comes to touch you.

Good Words: I think Africans are used to not commenting, ensure you are also appearing nice that will attract a comment; there is always a little touch that will provoke good comments. If your spouse is not commenting, ask him about his comment and let him talk more. Africans are mostly used to complain than give good comment, when it ought.

Give thrilling comment as regards his dressing, her cook, her steps, dance, work, sex style, and other things. This will thrill your spouse to want to do more and deliver better result.

Good Perfumes: You will pay more, when responsibilities finally take your home from you. Get affordable perfumes instead of you becoming scentless, wear your perfume and let your spouse know you are still in vogue.

Perfume is powerful to ease anger, to get concentration and attraction from people especially your spouse. Let your apartment smell nice, including the toilet, if you can afford it, it reveals romance to your spouse.

Good Outlook: You can dress well and not have a good outlook. Many women need to be taught how to smile and laugh, where the need be. A good outlook boosts good dressing. You good outlook is balanced with your color, smiles, communication and steps.

Touchery: The above stated will provoke touchery. This point is expedient that it has made sex to become tug of war because it isn’t often. Your spouse must be used to your touch; he or she needs your constant touch in the room, bathroom, kitchen, living room, church, office, market place, family house.

Make it a habit, to get closer to her, let there be body contact on a timely basis, put your head on his lap, put your hands across his neck, put your legs on his back, laps, hands. Consciously do it and you will see how it will fuel up your intimacy.

Seven: Structure Your Business – You don’t need to define the end of a business at the end, you can always define the end of a thing from the beginning and its persistency. Your small business that you call it, can be structure because it is not small but because that is what you can see. I am here to tell that that business must be structure if indeed, you want it to become great.

You must have an opening and closing time, you can also decide to organize overtime for jobs that is urgent with extra payment. As a drycleaner, I can decide to have a day and time for collection of clothes and delivery of clothes. You can decide to classes of your products and services for profit maximization.

Eight: Cultivate The Habit Of Savings For Investment – It is only a fool that spends it all says the book of proverbs. Before you started earning, you weren't earning, yet, you were living, you started earning, it is not enough that you had to spend all, it is gross level of financial indiscipline.

What you are selling isn’t the problem, the problem is your mindset. Whatever you says is not enough cannot be enough, but if you can see surplus in the little, you are so sure of living in abundance soonest. You need to go for financial summit, where you will be taught how to make, manage and multiply money, so that you will not become a history in financial story line. Get resources on this subject, to place you on top, while others are struggling and complaining in your industry. What this connotes is that you need information for you to be financially literate. Don’t think your colleague in the industry are limited as you, many source for information and work on it, which is this reason why they are better than you.

You need to know what money is. What you need to spend your money on and what you mustn’t spend your money on. Where money hides? And many others.

Ten: Don’t Say There’s No Money – I have always heard a common saying that is most irritating among businessmen either Holy Ghost tongue speaking one or not, which is “NO MONEY”. I have sat down to identify many reasons why they are used to these words and certify that it’s not worth saying at all.

As you have said in my ears, so will I do isn’t a joking matter. God doesn’t joke with the words of any man, your mouth is a pen writer of your business. If you want to draw the architectural design of your business and life, all you need is your mouth, which will prompt your action and the supernatural action over you.

Never be unequally yoked with unbelievers, rather, unbelievers should be bought into speaking our language as they see it working for us. I am blessed, too blessed to be broke. I am a source of blessing to the nations; I am nations’ lender and not borrower. Be cautious of what your mouth deliver into your life’s warehouse.

Eleven: Read Books, Journals, and Articles – I have seen a spreading diseases amongst the average and below average cadre, which will prevent them from going to the top and to sustain themselves there, which is the disease of not reading.

I have seen many businessmen and women, who are novice to books, journal and articles; they keep running their businesses on the platform of the ancient, not knowing that things are changing on a daily basis. It is not too much, if you can become a monthly or weekly subscriber of article, journal and books on business and life that can bring 360 degree improvement into your life.

Clear excuses of not having the time to read it, it’s all because you don’t create the time for it. Everything in life is done consciously, until you consciously include it in your agenda, it will be too tough for you to see yourself becoming a reading person. One the surest way by which knowledge come is through reading and listening, don’t deprive yourself of what you can get with your hundred of naira or thousands of naira.

Many business people would have gone farther than this but because they are always at alert for opportunity, waiting patiently for opportunity and wouldn’t know when the opportunity will come. Whatever God has done for one, He can do for another, He can always repeat those good testimonies in your life as well, if you can go for it.

Jesus didn’t perform miracle in the lives of everyone, He only did in the life of people who came for it. Until 

you are ready to go for it, you might have to wait for decade before it comes to you, provoke opportunities to forsake others and locate you.

Fourteen – Every Business Changes Process Between Ten Year, Grab The Changes Ahead: All business people, who aren’t willing to tell old and uninteresting story that they were once in business should know that business process changes within a decade and if you fail to flow with the changes, you will surely be pushed aside but if you can see the changes ahead for you to grab it and champion it, you will surely lead your industry. 

Don’t just do business because you want to eat and feed your family, engage in business because you want to make an unforgettable impact that will speak after you have gone. Accomplishing this will require you that you go ahead of every changes that will happen in your industry, take the bull by the horn for you to become wealthy as other will wail in tears of economy downsize.

Fifteen – Don’t Complain, Act: Due to the grace bestowed upon me, I meet business people daily: I have tried to always bring some out of their complain land to wishful land but because it is their wish not determination, they can keep complaining. 

If indeed you want to prosper than your predecessor, you must be heaven bent on forgoing complain and embrace action

One Hundred Commandments For Business Men and Women - Part One

Life is a game that must be played not by trial and error, if you wouldn’t want to waste precious time or part of your precious life. It doesn’t matter how smart you are, except you are a master in it, it is expedient for you to go through the manual of any game you want to play, if you will not want to be a victim. 

Many have been playing along with life and their business without going through the manual drawn out for it. Friends, the bible is the overall manual for all to live a fulfilled life and successful business. You cannot afford to take your business out of the bible, except you are in for another thing that will crash later in the future.

We are kicking off with these stated and unstated commandments that business people must identify themselves with to suceed exceedingly in life.

One: Acknowledge God – Luke 2:49, Jesus speaking that He must be about His father’s business, which connotes that God is a businessman. The greatest businessman, whose worth cannot be valued. Other businessmen and women worth can be valued but God’s worth cannot be valued. Therefore, wisdom demands that you acknowledge such a man, who has been in such industry before the ages begin, if indeed you want to be great.

You have to acknowledge God in all your doings as you run your business. Don’t acknowledge Him by having His image around your only, have Him at heart, be concious to do what He requires and to run away from what He detest in your business. Don’t run your business in this world styles, it will fade off but it will stand farther, if you run it on His demands.

Two: Acknowledge Predecessors – Genesis 14:17-20, God has made everything perfect that He makes every man never to be independent. You have to trace your success story to a man that you met ahead, who showed you the way. As close as Abraham was with God, he had to still pay tithe to Melchizedek.

It doesn’t matter how dear you are to him, He will show someone you have to follow that He sent ahead of you, for you to leverage on their shoulder. Friends, there are godly men and women who have succeeded and are succeeding in your industry, you will do yourself good, by journeying with them to learn from their mistakes, so that you wouldn’t make blunders that they made in times past.

Predecessors make your journey to be faster than theirs, if you fail to recognize them in your business journey, it will take you longer years they spend to get to where they are instead of you to soar to where they are in a jiffy.

Three: Learning Before Earning – Have you seen people who are struggling today? Have you met people who murmuring about the rising of others? Such men are always men who have avoided learning for earning. It doesn’t matter the business you are into, there is need for you to learn before earning, any earning that proceeds learning will only be meagre.

Friends, I need to tell you that a lot is changing in the industry you are into, you need to go for refreshers course to meet up with today’s changes. Don’t be deceived that young boys are rising above the predecessors, it is because they are always learning, it doesn’t matter what happen, learners are always leaders. Don’t waste away the advantage of the megabyte on your phone to read jokes only, read something valuable that will change your levels in your business area. Find courses and school you will attend in few days and weeks that will boost your value in your business. E.g. it doesn’t matter what you are selling, customer service is key to your business, hence you are too spiritual to go with customer service, it is just a matter of time, you wouldn’t know how your long listed customers will disappear on the list.

Four: Business Entity – The reason why many people aren't prospering is because they have mixed their business with their personal life. While learning Business Law in higher institution, we were taught that you business is an entity on its own that can sue and be sued. 

You need to bring yourself out of the business for your business to grow. I have seen many traders today, who will have thrive but because they have mixed both personal and business together, they cannot rise because they cannot discipline themselves to separate their business from personal life. 

Accept the truth that business money isn't your money, handle it as business money, then will you prosper. If you make N100, 000 weekly, you need to place yourself on salary and maximize the profit with your financial intelligence and if you aren't, then, you have to go and become financially intelligent.

Five: Discover Your Purpose – Don’t jump into business without discovering your purpose here on earth, especially business that will be run by you personally, I mean business that will require your personal attention, which will require you to be active.

You cannot function too well and far in an industry that doesn’t link with your divine purpose here on earth. I am yet to see what will separate me from writing and typing on a daily basis, I write always, all because I discovered my purpose and this is a significant tool to achieve my purpose here on earth.

Lay your hands on books and CD that will open you up to purpose discovery. It is expedient that you go through the archive teaching of daddy to get details on how you can discover your purpose. Failure to discover your purpose in life is a proof that you will surely or most likely be in the wrong business industry. I have seen people bored in an industry that a few are thriving in, I seen people sleeping and complaining in an industry, where a few are awaiting the future challenge for them to conquer, it isn't their fault, it is failure to discover purpose. It is not too late, you can still discover your purpose, so as to aid you to locate your purpose. 

Six: Have A Vision – After discovering your purpose, which will help you to find the business you will engage in, you will need to have a vision about the purpose God have given, so that it will not remain small.

Friend, it is vision that help you access how far you will go in life. You have to open yourself to this realm in what you are doing. Someone said, I will work until I wont need to introduce myself anymore. That to me is a challenge that everyone must have – it is a vision. 

Have a vision about what you are doing, it doesn’t matter the corner, where you have found yourself by the issue of capital, I have the delight to tell you that you will come to limelight because who are at limelight today didn’t start from there, they started from the corner of their room, but now, they are global.
