It is a common saying that “It is only a fool who keeps doing the same thing an old way and will expect different result”. As close as Abraham was with God, God still told him the truth that he should walk before Him and be perfect because walking in his old ways will not produce any different result until he start walking in a new way. 

The best of the best that your business, company or ministry could deliver last year was what it has delivered, if you desire any magnanimous change, surprising change in your earnings this new year 2017, you need to key into this truth of ‘DOING THINGS BETTER’. 

If you have taken the earlier steps I have discussed with your earlier this year, about review and preview, you would have laid your hands on better ways to approach a lot of things about your life, business, and ministry. Identifying them will not produce result, but it is the doing that will deliver more desirable result. 

Core Areas To Do Things Better

Product/Service: Your customers aren’t bringing money to your because they love you, it is because of the product they are in need of. Therefore, if you want an increase in your earnings, you need to improve more in the quality of your product, your product must be more effective, so as to maintain and propel them to become your volunteer marketer. 

Customer Relationship: Find a better way of attending to your customer. Never jeopardize your customer for anything, if it will require that you go for customer service training or public relation training, you need to do that, all your staff must be literate as regards this. 

Improve in attending to your customer; you need to move from maintaining your customers to increasing them, which will relatively affect your earnings positively. 

Environment: People are sensitive with the environment or condition of the place where they buy product/service. Maintain a serene environment that can make your customer comfortable for more minutes, while you are trying to attend to them. 

Toiling with your environment is toiling with your earnings, treating your environment better is getting ready to increase your earnings. It is not waste of money, if you have air freshener that will make your waiting room smell nice, it is not a waste if you have good seats to make your customers sit well.  

Delivery: Work more on your product/service delivery this year 2017. You need more brain work to really get this done. If you have quality product and one in a million service package, if your delivery is poor, it repels people from patronizing you but if the delivery is an enviable one, it attracts more customers who will not do window shopping but will be willing to make payment for what they want. 

Dressing: People will have to come in contact with your physical being before they reach your worth. It is pertinent that you appear better in your dressing this year. Dressing well I have said is a serious business, many people who aren’t as good as another man, has taken up opportunities from them because of dressing.

How To Do Things Better?

Learn From Others: Don’t be proud to learn from others, learn from them, through their books, tapes, summit, one-on-one. Be humble enough to travel, pay the price required for you to learn how to do things better. 

Take Initiative: Always take initiative, be curious for it to lead you to take initiative. Don’t just run your business without finding out time to take personal initiative that will give you better leverage upon your contemporaries. Think outside the box, the reason why God gave you a brain is to think like Him, think as a god that you are, and think in the capacity of God.  

Put Your Customers First: You will always do things better, if you are full of putting your customers first. You will always come up with products/services that will meet their needs, improve their standard of living.

Put yourself second, when it comes to you increasing your earnings in 2017 and beyond, think how your customers can get more value for the value they are paying for. 

See Ahead: Don’t be a figure head entrepreneur who is only ready to follow and not to lead. If you want to do things better, which will culminate to an increase in your earnings this year and beyond, you will need an eagle eye for you to see ahead of other people. You need to move from being a follower to a leader, trail blazer, pathfinder, so that you can have access to the milk and honey.
