Running into the New Year in haste without proper review into year 2016 will lead you to soft pedal as you experience something you experienced last year, which you will have avoided. The idea of a review is to help you to view a better year ahead of you, without a review; there cannot be a preview into the future.

The Yoruba has an adage “If a younger one falls, he will look forward but if an elder one falls, he will look backward to see what made him fall”, which is review. This connote that review is for the elder and what elder means is wisdom, therefore, it is wise for you to sit down with your team member either in business, company or ministry to do a proper review of your 2016 before you dabble into the year 2017.

Identify Your Place of Fall: It is not possible for you to run through a year without a fall at a junction because you aren’t a perfect individual. God the Almighty was sad because He created man, He then destroyed the whole earth and did a review of the earth. 

Before you begin the race of 2017, have a rethink of the junction of your fall, where exactly did you had a fault, don’t do a blame pushing game, be sincere to yourself, as a Leader, Entrepreneur and President of that ministry, everything rises and falls on you. You must provide the answer to the why of the fall, if you are desirous to make meaningful progress this year, if not, such causes will still repeat itself and will make the fall happen unavoidable. 

Reconcile The Place Of Fall: Identify those who caused the fall majorly and those who were affected by the fall, ensure you make significant reconciliation. Don’t sweep matter underneath the rug, you will be dazed that it makes the rug dirtier. 

Meet with your aggrieved customers and explain things afresh, promising them of a better business relationship this year 2017, giving them confidence that such won’t repeat itself, so that you can regain back your customer or not lose them to someone else. 

Make Necessary Adjustment To Avoid Such Fall: Make strategic plans of paper to avoid such fall any longer in the history of your business and ministry. The reason of such fall last year, is for it not to occur anymore, if you want to become a better entrepreneur and minister. 

Identify Your Highway: You need to understand also your highway that led to major breakthrough for you last year. You need to be sensitive to this highway, so that you maintain such highway for resounding result this year. 

Identify The Causes of Your Pacesetting: As you give God all the glory, there is no doubt about it that God used some individuals to provoke these great results. Identify the causes of this highway that placed you at the fore front in your business, industry and ministry. 

Leverage On Your Strength: Wisdom demands that you strengthen your strength, so that you will become stronger. That nobody will be able to clear you off your base. I am here to tell you not to maintain your position last year but to leverage on your strength that brought you thus far.
