Day 5 - IDENTIFY YOUR TARGET MARKET





 There is no quantity of prayers that can be offered, there is no quality of charm that can be done for a man who sells bible in front of a mosque or sells Koran in front of a church to boost his sales. When packaging your product/service, you should have in mind your target market before you are through.

Don’t locate yourself where customers will have to look for you, locate yourself where you can be reach is the slogan of Ema Ommon. For you to boost your sales at the end of this year, there is need for you to put yourself where you can be reached by your customers.

Define and identify your target market as you are prepared to come out with your product/service. The essence of this article is for you not to go and sell hen at this Christmas season in a Muslim settled area, you are so sure of not making sales. The following questions will help you to identify your target market.


How To Identify Your Target Market?

What is the value your product?: Every producer, businessman will always know the value that their product has. With the help of answering or laying hold of the value your product bears, it will direct you to your target market.

What is the problem your product will solve?: Every product/service is consciously unleashed to solve an impending and existing problem that has become viral in a certain community. Hence you can place the problem your product is to solve; you are directly opposite your target market.

Who need the value or solution that your product is to proffer?: This question will place you before your target market. In the room of trying to answer this question, you would have access into the people you have been looking for.

Who Are Those You Bear In Mind To Make Happy?: You are not going to make sales this end of the year because you have good product but because you have people in mind that you want to make happy with the availability of your product/service. 


Don’t Venture Into It If You Cannot Identify Your Target Market

If you are yet to identify your target market, then, don’t venture into the product/service. Identifying your target market is what enables you to channel your marketing for profiting. Identify your market before you venture into producing your products, without the customers, your products are useless no matter the value it carries. 

The size isn’t what matter, the package isn’t the significant, but the paramount issue is to certify that you are producing for popular demand.
